A bomb exploded in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Wednesday.
The roadside blast happened in the Police District 1 of the provincial capital city, Jalalabad.
Ataullah Khogyani, a spokesman for provincial governor, said the bomb was meant to hit a police vehicle. He said that the blast left no casualties.
According to the official, police discovered and confiscated another bomb in the area following the blast.
The bombing comes a day after bomb attacks hit three Afghan cities in a single day on Tuesday including capital Kabul, killing dozens.
