At least two people have been killed in a traffic incident in northern Takhar province of Afghanistan, officials confirmed Thursday.
The provincial police confirming the report said, the incident took place in Taloqan city of the province when a passenger bus which was traveling from Badakhshan to Kabul, collided with a Rickshaw, adding the two drivers of the rickshaw have been dead.
According to local police, the bus driver has escaped following the incident.
No further details have been provided by officials regarding the motive behind the incident. However, reckless driving, excessive speed and the use of drugs by drivers are the main reasons for such incidents.
Separately, a woman on Wednesday night hanged herself in Bangi district, following the series of domestic violence in the province.
